Three generations
in the same trade
The family's work in engineering and textile machinery goes back to 1949, when our sister concern M/S Tara Chand Batra & Son's was established. What began as engineering work in Panipat has stayed in the family, and stayed in the same trade, ever since.
D.T. Manufacture & Traders was established in 2001 as a dedicated firm for textile machinery spare parts. Across Panipat the business is still known by the name it grew up with — Batra Machine — and it is still the number a weaving shed calls when something stops.
We are expert in engineering works. We manufacture, import and trade spare parts for weaving and shuttleless looms: shuttle loom spare parts, jacquard and dobby components, feeder components, and all types of textile machine parts. Where a part is no longer available — or was never catalogued — we can manufacture any type of part to requirement, subject to technical feasibility.
Purjawala is how that work now reaches the world. Our 2026 catalogs cover Vamatex, Somet, Sulzer TP600, Dornier, Panther, Vendeville, dobby, jacquard and feeder systems. All five are open on this site — no form, no registration.
